I have been a member of The Lion yearbook staff for three years. This year, I am one of the editors on the staff. Being an editor on the yearbook requires just as many tasks as being on The Leonid. I learned Photoshop skills, such as how to create cut-outs, how to edit a pictures for better brightness and quality, and creating various visual effects. I also take a lot of pictures for the yearbook on varying subjects, such as sports, student life, and academics. Being an editor also means that I design templates to be used throughout the book. I have created templates for all of the sports pages in the yearbook as well as the ones for student life. I am also tasked with completing layouts for sports and student life, which includes writing captions and placing images. I even helped develop the theme and create the cover for the 2015-2016 and 2016-2017 yearbooks.
